OpenAir at Marketplace of the Future

We were honored to conclude our jam-packed Climate Week NYC today at its official closing event, Marketplace of the Future. We had an amazing time exchanging ideas with hundreds of climate-conscious individuals, spreading the word on DACC and informing people about the (super exciting!) New York State Low Embodied Carbon Concrete Leadership Act. The live jazz band and sustainable free food options weren’t too shabby either ;)

A giant thank you to our friends at Looking Glass Factory for lending us their 3D display to help us bring DACC to life (check it out in the pictures below).

And a huge thank you — and welcome! — to all the new Collectors who joined our community today! Each of you brought your own interests, insights, skills, backgrounds, and passions to our conversations together, and we’re excited to see that manifest into a better, more whole OpenAir.

OpenAir makes soft debut in NYU's March for Science Expo!

We made our official public debut at the March for Science Expo! Founding members Matt Parker and Ari Marder (looking awfully cool in freshly printed OpenAir t-shirts), met dozens of science enthusiasts and spoke to them about the current state of Direct Air Carbon Capture and its benefits and challenges. We’d like to thank the March for Science organizers for including us and giving us the opportunity to spread our message. See you next year! (hopefully within even cooler t-shirts and gear)
